Meatless Monday- A vegetarian diet leaves a much smaller carbon footprint than one with meat. To show everyone that vegetarian dishes are not only healthy but also delicious, we will be hosting a vegetarian potluck dinner in collaboration with the student group BODY. Everyone is invited to attend, and for a list of food options and for those who wish to bring a dish can sign up here. The event will be held at Belfer 801 A and B at 7:00 PM. Please bring your own dishes and utensils! For more information on Meatless Monday, click here.
Take the Stairs Tuesday- Burn calories, not electricity! We will be posting signs around student housing and Belfer to encourage everyone to take the stairs.
Why Recycle Wednesday- While many people would like to recycle, it is often inconvenient at Einstein, especially when we are in our apartments. To make recycling easier, we will be giving out free upcycled cardboard boxes for your recyclables and stickers with information on how to sort recycling. This event will take place in the 1925-1935 lobby from 8:00 to 10:00 PM.
Thirsty Thursday- As a part of our fundraiser we will be selling shot glasses printed with a picture of our organization logo. Each glass will be $5, and will be sold at lunch time and after 2:00 PM on the courtyard lawn.
Film Friday- In collaboration with BODY we will be bringing you a showing of the documentary The Eleventh Hour (Click here for the official website and here for its IMBD page). This screening will take place at 11:00 AM in the Forcheimer 3rd floor lecture hall. Thai food and kosher options will be provided, and please bring your own plates and utensils!
